A recent article in this Journal (J. Chem. Educ. 2020, 97, 1715-1730) contains erroneous isomer numbers of certain sets of organic compounds. We show that correct numbers are produced by constructive enumeration of isomers using a recent molecular structure generator
Stereochemical nomenclature remains a point of attention; especially now different fields in chemist...

This Part 4 continues a general presentation of the principles of stereochemistry with special refer...
Abstract : Organic compounds have different linear and branched elaborate formulas, so if two organ...
This thesis concerns the ontology of isomerism, this encompassing the conceptual frameworks and rela...
Stereoisomers have the same molecular formula and the same atom connectivity and their existence can...
In this paper, a simple theoretical approach to counting of substitution isomers is described. It is...
Henze and Blair [2] have successfully derived algorithms for enumerating the number of constitutiona...
The article points out that the common sources of thermodynamic data do not respect optical isomeris...
AbstractOne of the most general chemical phenomena, isomerism, can be fruitfully described by variou...
